Damn- just read this post- the kids need to realize that they can't light the fireworks on PUBLIC ROADWAYS!! If they want to burn down their own house, that's another story. The fact that they were UNSUPERVISED is the parents fault. No one is going to lose their home in a lawsuit over this incident, so take it easy Drew in Houston. Even if the firework involved was lit in the yard- it ended up on the road. Very irresponsible! I think the parents of the MINOR CHILD need to pay for the glasses at the very least. Perhaps only the deductible from this innocent man's insurance for sure! But it shouldn't have to be paid by the insurance company when it is totally and negligibly the fault of the juvenile! It sounds like a lesson was learned and hopefully we won't see this family on Judge Judy, Texas Justice, Joe Brown, or Jerry Springer.
