Not to flame anybody here...
Many cars are designed with a built-in understeer....SAAB being one of them....to the non-race car driver(like me), it means, generally speaking, that you can correct an understeer situation by simply lifting your foot off the gas...
I'd have to agree that most drivers on the roads I drive(and I live in W. Michigan with 82" avg. snowfall per winter) cannot react to correct an oversteer situation.
