Last week I joined a host of Saab folk for for a SQR tuning session at Automotion in Billerica,Ma.My session was on Wed. so I got up on Tue and watched Frank put smiles on a lot of faces.Paul smoked my motor ,fix the leaks, and we were off to the dyno an hour away.By this time Frank had spent several hours progaming my car ,a lot of in traffic while Paul drove,to insure real world drivability. The seccond easy pull on the dyno, just passed 4k rpm/300hp the clutch puked a spring, dyno session over.Super good guy Nick at Genuine Saab over nighted a Spec clutch and in 1 hr-10 min Paul had us back on our way to the dyno.Frank started what was to be an hour long dyno sesson and again on the seccond pull, 5k rpm/just passed 400hp we heard a rattle. The Mobil-1 oil I had in the engine had just cost me a motor. We all compaired notes ,Paul had lost 2 motors with this oil ,the dyno shop had lost 3 Honda motors whith it and Frank had some of the same in Sweden.Mobil-1 IS FIT ONLY FOR LAWN MOWERS AND IF IT IS ONE YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT.The crew at Automotion- Bo ,Paul and the Pirate are as good as it gets. They patched me up and I made it back home ,driving gently. Before he left for Sweden ,Frank showed me the screen on his computer which recorded detonation occurence.Out of what must have beeh several thousand squares I saw only "0"s.Any tuner that knowes how to turn off a few things and has a big turbo can make big dyno hp,it is another thing all together to make big HP you can actually use in the real world,Frank is the man-ed
