So if you get rid of the spacer how much farther does the tripod bearing go in. So the only thing I can think of is that the ball joints are what is keeping the spindle further away from the transmission? I'm not sure how that would be possible. Did you understand what I meant by the tripod bearing only sticks in that housing by 9 mm?
