Yes, exactly. Mine measures almost 16 and 3/8 to the edge of the housing from that spot you pointed at in the picture. What is your measurement from the frame of the car to the edge of the transmission housing? The measurement from the frame to the transmission will tell you if the transmission and motor are actually pushed away. From the spindle to the transmission is a whole another list of things that could be making it further away. Like suspension components bushings in the a arm to the frame the lower bushings something loose on the suspension. If you measure from the frame to the transmission it can pretty much only be the motor is pushed over. I think my measurement in the picture is 5/8 of an inch.
