I can't control whether you like the 9-7X or not. Many folks on these BBs are long time Saabers and Saab "purists" and vehicles like the 9-2X and the 9-7X dilute the brand for them.
The bigger picture is that the 9-2X and the 9-7X will bring Saab buyers who normally wouldn't have considered one of our limited selection of models and thereby enhance the security of the "purists" and their ability to purchase the pure Trollhattan products.
Saab isn't replacing any current Trollhattan models, just adding to the brand in completely remote segments than none of the current Trollhattan cars appeal to.
This may be somewhat distasteful to Saab purists, and I understand and sympathize with that, but it is essential to making Saab a viable, ongoing brand.
