What I find interesting is that GM is stating they're trying to keep SAAB people within the brand by offering an SUV. But it seems to me that they're actually coming up with a product which really doesn't have huge demand rather than meeting a customer desire. I could be all wrong here though. I thought nobody in their right mind would buy a Porsche SUV!
For years SAAB owners have wanted AWD. But GM has never provided this. Sure, there are AWD SAABs, but they're all based on other companies' designs. It's downright sad that to date SAAB hasn't offered AWD on the cars made in Trollhatten. Volvo does. BMW does. Audi does. All the companies SAAB wants to compete with offers this technology. Why not SAAB?
