Bought a Pilot, would have considered a 9-7X

Bought my wife a Honda Pilot last year. If Saab had had an SUV, I would have looked at it. Don't know if it would have made the grade (needed 7 passenger, at least 20 mpg, reliability, comfortable for an active family, etc), but I at least would have looked. We ended up with the Pilot because it hit the nail on the head of what my wife was looking for (I wanted the Acura MDX, as it was a better drive). Like the majority of people on the road, her value metrics don't include a driving "experience". The Pilot does drive better than all the rentals I get when travelling, but its not a Saab (or beemer, or MBZ, etc).
