It would be really cool to see a classic Saab given a makeover ala the Mini, new Mustang, or the "New Beetle". Even if it was only a concept, seeing a modern 96 or 900 would be pretty cool. I've got to agree with Hazelnut though, there's no going back for a lot of these new features.
Computers might cause problems from time to time, but they are what allows the performance, low emissions, and fault diagnosis we get out of modern cars. Far from "causing nothing but problems", they're an essential part of how modern cars operate. I do wish they were a little more transparent and you didn't need thousands of dollars in proprietary equipment to work on them. I'm sure there will be a push for that by consumers eventually though.
I loved both of my 900s dearly, almost cried when I sold my '91 yesterday. However my 9-3 is a great car, very worth of the Saab name and so much more fun to drive than a base 900. I don't want to live in the past... I just want good cars to drive.
