to do that kind of thing. Daimer-Chrysler also does this with the Cherokee and the Dakota. The Dakota is just a jeep with funky front end tins but on. This is something that The Big 3 has always done, haven't any of you heard the old legend about how GM came to be in the first place?
For those that haven't here goes. Originally, Pontiac, Chevy, and Oldsmobile were seperate companies, however, the funny thing was that they always had interchangable parts and the looked very similar. So finally someone sued because they had to pay more for the Olds part than the cheaper chevy part (the same part) and so the companies finally merged to prevent such things from happeneing again. True or not, who knows, but it does prove the point. I expect that even though it will be based on the Blazer, it will have many other features added that you can't get on just the Blazer.
