As far as this discussion goes you should take the few meager scraps left on your plate, put them in a doggy bag and go home. You're really grasping at straws here. (Right back at you, your own words are most fitting for what you are doing or should be doing)

"Plug-in hybrids" is a dumb idea, as illustrated by the pathetic sales numbers for all plug-in hybrids before the latest ridiculous election emergency subsidies on the Volt amounting to 80% of the vehicle's production cost. With government paying for 80% of ownership cost, practically any car should be able to sell very well.

Relative resale value unknown? Do you really need to be hit in the head by a Mack truck at 65mph to tell that such a hit is fatal? Are some people posting here really born yesterday?

Funny you should falsely accuse me of being intellectually dishonest, which part of my statements was factually incorrect? OTOH, you lied blatantly when you claimed Volt to be less expensive than Prius.
