I got into Saabs in the mid-80s at college, one of my room-mates had a convertible 900 turbo and one of the guys who lived in the other apartment in our house also had one (both red). My room-mate and I took a round the country trip in that car one winter and had a great time, it performed perfectly everywhere we drove and was more comfortable on 10 - 12 hour driving days than any other car I can remember. That's what got me hooked.
