Was GM Canada / EDS employee. Had driven and Volvo's and Opel. Went through a few GM models [GM discount]. Did a 4 week driving vacation in Europe and drove a small Citroen with active suspension through back mountain twisties etc. Got back to GM car at airport parking and driving that felt like a dump truck, heavy and clumsy. It was a Pontiac Grand Prix with good tires and a 3.2 liter 24 valve engine. So it was decent as a GM vehicle was then. Next spring test drove a 95 NG900 SE and that was that and GM discount too.
How did I end up at SaabNet? Moved to Kansas, imported the NG900. No dealer near by. Found Saabnet and found George's Imports in KCMO, who may have pointed me here. Used to be a heavy contributor for NG900 and T5 performance mods. I helped separate the NG900 posts from the classic 900 - weeks of work.
Now have '93 and '94 Steel Gray 9-5 Aero Wagons. At the time, Sprint employees got discounts at Saab dealers. We both went to Aero Academy at Road Atlanta.
