After I lost my final 9K Aero we were forced to relocate & I desperately needed a car.

The best deal I could find within my reach was a 2008 Nissan Rogue S AWD.
I bought it knowing it didn't come with a title, but as a temporary car it was fine via a temp. (paper) plate & adding the insurance.

Much to my surprise it was extremely likable - a good driving car, and gave me over 7000 trouble free miles - until a fuel tank strap fell off & I was in no shape to crawl under to fix it.
It went to a neighbor who did that repair happily, and soon thereafter the u-joint fell apart & driveshaft fell right down, BUT...
It went to a family member as a 2wd car & he drove it 'till a ball joint got too loose & then parked it until it can be repaired.

After the '08 stupid me thought another Rogue would suffice & I found a 2012 SV AWD for a decent price & had it transported here from MD.

In short it was a ripoff with zero recourse from which I learned how dependent upon complex electronic controls it was - and well beyond my reach to repair so it became a total loss.

Finally I was able to locate a 2006 Honda CRV AWD with what little $$ I had left.
Turns out to be a good car - though noplace near as great as a 9K Aero & a bit less of a driver's car than the '08 Rogue.

Hopefully it can be my 'last car' given my age, etc.
