I was referring to No Snaab's response and, of course, no offense meant. I just mean that $225 a month is actually a chunk of change for many people on a car that they'll eventually need to turn in and have limited annual mileage use on. I took advantage of the expiring EV credits (9/30/25) and on Labor Day went to look at a $129/month lease on a brand new Kia Niro Wind... $129 got me on the lot, negotiated down to $109, and said I'd take the white one but they offered me $99/month if I would take the red with black trim so I said that I like red and took that. I'm limited to 10,000 miles a year (I work from home so no problem) for two years then I have to turn it back into the dealer. You can see my write up about that here:
