The lemon I ended up with was advertised by a private seller who neglected to disclose that it was sort of a reject from a used car dealer he acted as an agent for...that is...
Not until after the sale when I found out via the paperwork.

Post-2012 Rogue, I suspect that car had been in a flood and so had many gremlins, some of which messed with its CVT being reliable.

Since I must travel an hour or more for provisions from this rural area, the 2012 was simply not to be trusted after it had stranded me on an uphill with zero phone signal for ~45 minutes 'till it would move again.

I was not willing to risk that again, so away it went.

If I were a bazillionaire I'd happily get another, better one, but also have a spare car for when it might krap out.
