The average price of a new car is $50K and the average car payment is $750-775. a month. $200 a month is what everyone wanted when I was selling cars back in the 80's and they cost $10-12K. That's not much money these days. My job when I sold cars was helping people solve their car problems and I've seen everything you can imagine. In addition I owned a dealership that speicalized in selling older cars, so I have a lot of experience buying and fixing older cars. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm trying to help this guy solve his problem. Buying old cars and keeping them running on a shoe string is getting less and less viable for a lot of reasons that I won't go into right now. In theory, it might work if you can find the right car (very rare) but people just don't maintain cars any more. If you need a car in a hurry you're very likely to end up with crap. I'm trying to understand the logic. You can't come up with $200 over the course of a month and yet you can come up with the money to buy the first Rogue, the second Rogue, and the CVR. We don't don't know what that comes to but it's got to be at least $3,000 or $4,000--Yes? No? What I'm trying to say is keep that money in your pocket and dole it out at $225. a month. Does that make sense to anyone?
