let's see
1. We're still waiting for the Legend ...
- they don't like the name, I guess a NEG, albeit minor and arguable
2. The TLX is two cars in one
- smaller volumes, NEG
3. New engines, new transmissions
- loved the 2.4 combo, not so much the 3.5, a DRAW
4. Ignore the X, unless it also says SH-AWD
- love the AWD system (wished available with the 2.4) a POS
5. Superb suspension
- heading says it all, a POS
6. Terrible tires
- heading says it all, a NEG, but tires are consumables, and they do note an increase in mpg, perhaps partly because of the tires
7. Hush hush
- very quiet, a POS
8. Distracting touchscreen
- heading says it all, a NEG
9. The driver assistance systems need ... assistance
- heading says it all, a NEG
10. Multiple personalities, one clear winner
- love the 2.4 combo, not so the 3.5, a DRAW

So we add them up, and perhaps five NEG's to three POS's, but...
IF you go with the 2.4 (which doesn't offer the SH-AWD), don't need larger volume (think Verano), consider tires consumables, consider #8 and #9 two versions of the same item, and don't give a hoot about the name, well, more positives than negatives, maybe a car to consider.

They summarize with:
11. The bottom line
"The 2.4-liter TLX, especially, hits the perfect compromise between luxury-car refinement and sufficient driver engagement."
