Here is a decent hands-on review, including comparison to Audi and BMW, as well as hinting at the driving difference between P-AWS vs. SH-AWD:

http://autoweek.com/article/car-reviews/2015-acura-tlx-second-drive-review

IMHO, there is a very good reason why the reviewer found the TLX V6 SH-AWD out-handling the A4: the Audi model really comparable, in terms of drive-train, to the V6 SH-AWD is the S4 with Audi "Sport Differential" option purchased, a $50k car plus the $1100 stand-alone option. Of course, the S4 would have 11.5% more power but also about 200 lbs heavier.

What I found from driving essentially the "TLX wagon" (aka the new, and much lighter and lower than previous generation, MDX) is that the SH-AWD is so good at going about its business that the driver often go through quick corners surprised by the utter lack of drama as the car literally rotates/whips around the driver, with much less body lean than otherwise would be the case in a normal car. It is the passenger who screams out aloud about the drastic lateral accelearation as I frequently go through corners without braking or slowing down at all nowadays. LOL. While it feels like power-sliding going through every fast corner on demand, and the tires chirp for good effect, I have never been able to actually break the rear end loose in the past few months. I will try harder on snow covered empty parking lot when winter gets here. LOL.

The Torque Vectoring AWD concept can only be even better in an even lower car like the TLX and S4 with Sport-Differential. TLX is perhaps 400 lbs lighter and 1.5-2 inches lower in center of gravity compared to MDX.
