The 328xi GT under-steered during my test drive, and the tail just followed around without much enthusiasm.
Whereas the MDX reacts very enthusiastically to throttle steering, thanks to Torque-Distributing AWD. I hardly brake during turns any more nowadays. Feeling having entered a turn too fast and leaning too much on the front outside tire contact patch to generate that centripetal force? No problem! Just _ADD_ some throttle input and SH-AWD system will serve up the turning torque and alleviate the front outside contact patch. It works even better than mechanical LSD or ESP/DSP system selective braking inside rear wheel.
As for experience with 6-cyl engines, I had owned an I-6 BMW 528i for half a decade before buying my 9-5 wagon more than a decade ago. I have also owned the Toyota Highlander V6 AWD Limited for the past 10 years since it was new.
