A BMW guy, but he was a huge fan of the MDX - checks all the boxes for performance and family hauler without being ostentatious. He said he had delivered a few 3 series GT, and they were "just ok" - much better than the 5 series GT from a couple years ago which he hated, but he said to watch for the 4 series: there is or will be a 4 door one that may open as a hatch a little more like a 9000 or tesla. I haven't looked into it really, but sounds interesting... heck I can use google. here's a photo and a link. 420i Grand Coupe. I think there is a turbo 4 engine option with 290hp.

I agree, it is a shame SAAB never got a chance to sell more 9-4X's. That might have been the "car" to save them financially!
