So I'm being totally respectful here and I think everybody should be before they judge me. You don't even know how I drive, and words cannot properly describe what I do. I can't post a video, or maybe I would so that people would see how I drive and get off my back.
I believe that I am a very good driver, and my friends, family, insurance company, and the police would agree. I use my turn signals always, don't speed excessively, maintain speed with traffic, courteously let people in, anticipate unsafe scenarios and actively avoid them.
Come drive here in Detroit and see what it's really like, and then see how you fare if you continually let people cut in front of you when they pass on the right because they think they can go faster in your spot even though the flow of traffic will not allow anybody to go faster in any lane. When they do this, they come way to close to the slower car in the next lane over. Why tempt them to pull an unsafe maneuver? I'm not competitive at all, but I have to get to where I'm going in a reasonable time and SAFELY. I have been doing so for 17 years and I guarantee you that nobody would look at my driving from another vehicle and call me a jerk.
And no, I'm not married yet, still thinking.
