Course II (ME) I hope.
Thing is, it's impossible to "eyeball" a pressed metal welded sub-frame bolted onto a pressed metal and welded body without a whole lot of experience, and unless this guy works in suspension development, he doesn't have enough. Note that the chassis has been used by tons of Opels and Vauxhalls, and "over there" an Opel station wagon would be the functional equivalent (in terms of useage) to a Suburban over here. That said, maybe Saab is using much softer bushings for better ride/noise, allowing more deflection of the subframe when the suspension bottoms, hence plastic (permanent) deformation.
Frankly, you've sort of convinced me to look into a load leveling kit, especially if I keep getting camber wear. I think if there's an "engineering problem" it's that the leveling kit wasn't made standard. Oh, wait, that's marketing's responsiblity.
They test these things for a gazillion miles, both on the road and on the track, fully loaded, over bumps that would make you get out and walk. Unladen and fully loaded. If there's a problem, they know about it. Wouldn't be the first time something was demed "good enough" by management when it wasn't.
Keep at it, and keep in touch.
