Continuing with the SWAG approach, the load on each spring could vary from roughly 700lb unloaded to 1165lb loaded. I have read that the nivomats are designed to have the same spring rates as stock, but it doesn't state what happens under load. The load leveling may work if the nivomats function increases k in response to the load, thus reducing spring deflection. If k stays the same as the stock springs, then you have the same problems.
It would be wrong of Saab to give a stated payload that only works with the load leveling option. The springs should never come close to full deflection under static load which from the picture is clearly happening.
I think maintaining suspension geometry is critical and can prevent many of the problems folks are experiencing.
If you give the load leveling a try, let us know how it goes. There is little feedback on this option from the Gary Fisher version owners.
