Ehhhh.... not really so. The buyer and the seller enter into a contract - the buyer to pay and the seller to hand over the goods. Anyone changing their mind is a breach of contract. Ebay would penalize either party in the same way - negative feedback, possible banning. Either party would have the same remedy - hire an attorney and pursue civil legal action. The only way out of the contract is it both parties agree to release each other from it. It's mutual and equal. Neither party is favored.
