I believe CT does have laws pertaining to price gouging or at least know that there have been investigations into it after things like natural disasters where people did charge much higher prices for things (batteries, dry ice, whatever).

The dealer where my Saab dealer got the mirror from was in California and may be out of the Saab business by now. Don't know, don't care. Well I do care that Saab dealers are closing but not about the specifics of that Saab dealer in CA. It is what it is.

It's not concern to us as we made the decision whilst fully informed of our options. We CHOSE to purchase our mirror the way we did for our convenience and considered the cost part of the convenience it afforded us getting a mirror, painted to match the car, ready to install quickly, and allowed us to support our dealer who has done the same for us for many years.

Perhaps our state laws would not approve. One of my clients happens to be our State Attorney General. From what I know his office is busy enough without me asking for assistance on the matter, and again, we're not complaining or worried about it.

We got our part, we paid the agreed upon price, and I think our Attorney General's office has bigger fish to fry.

I also have many attorneys as clients and friends and am not asking them to take this up on our behalf either but thank you David for the free consult.

I'm still with Chad on his situation.

I also guess that without more actual Saab news at the moment this topic is keeping us all busy.
