The interesting thing here in America is the two different points of view about regulation of capitalism.
There is one set of people who think business should be unregulated (lawlessness when taken to the extreme) and by and large these same people want to regulate the hell out of people's personal lives.
Then there is the other group of people who take the opposite view and that would be the one that Anil and I are in. That business should have rules and should not be lawless and that people's personal lives should enjoy far less regulation from those who want to regulate personal lives.
I think the lawless business society in which we now live is the basis of our economic calamity. The business scoundrels don't go to jail. Banksters run the joint. So it is no wonder that so many people here think that there should be no rules regarding business affairs and that caveat emptor rules.
