David conveniently ignored my post above it where I asked: "how would this go down on ebay?"

If I bought something on ebay + returned it to the seller because I found another one cheaper nearby, even if massively so, who gets the negative feedback? how would the ensuing dispute be resolved?

This is a lesson also for sellers re the importance of having clearly stated policies (which Chad quite possibly may have).

I agree with others, that the markup sounds completely reasonable.

David and Anil, you'd get much farther here in the long run by taking the high road.
