Since I dont find the search funcktion on this board very user friendly, could you gather up a brief summura with dyno sheet from your car. You never mentioned what the base engine, and MY of your car is.
Why the heck do you think I would babble here I would not know what the hell I'am talking about? I have dynoed my viggen tens of times with different HW and Sw set ups over the years and I'm pretty confident that I know what is happening in there. All my measurements back up the theory I posted. I dont know how in earth your car can funktion well with all those mods if it is a T7 car. For my viggen, just adding a IC was enough to mess up the whole "control loop". Oh, yes we made power lots of it more than with the old IC, but lambda value was strait from the crapper. With the old IC car ran with a nice A/F ~0.85under WOT at high rpm, with the new IC lambda barely made it below 0.95.
Here is a other example from a viggen with stock SW and lots of HW mods. Mod list is very similar to yours. By looking at the sheep one does not need to be a rocet scientist to see that the car is not working too well.
Peak values are better than stock (230/350), but that's about it. Look at the shape of the torque curve, what does that tell you? Airmass controller "ower shoots" and the result is a peak in the torque curve. Really nice to drive a car with this kind of feature. How do you explain this set up does not work? I know many other T7 cars that will behave just like this one does. In fact I have never seen out of tens of T7 cars that I have had the change to follow close by work ok with several HW mods and not a suitable SW. I guess you must be honered to own such a vehicle :)
About the MAF, which part of this do you not understand?
HW parts change the VE and there fore affect the MAF calibration, modifing the amount of inert gases (so the filling ratio) of the cylinder.
Like stated earlier the MAF itself will work just like it has been doing it the past and will keep on doing in the future. The sensor it self does not see anything that is going on, how could it, it is just an measuring device for AM. So once adaption is done with the help of lambda the MAF measurement does not match with the original operating point anymore. Calibraiton point is not something T7 will change automatically, it can only be changed with a new SW.
Anyhow, you have the right to believe in what ever you wish, I wont argue ower this issue. On word of advide though, talk to the people work around the T7. I'm always open for information, since we can newer know enough.
