Number one, what in the world do you mean by "all those mods"? The mods are listed, 3" exhaust w/DP, and open cone filter. I don't know what your experience with drag racing is, and I'm surely not a professional by any means, but an almost 3/10ths reduction in 1/4 mile time is a lot--especially considering I was running heavier wheels. You convienently overlook that gain and point again to the speed, but what do you suppose caused that reduction in time? I can tell you that the difference WAS NOT in the first 60 ft. You know what? One time, once, I also ran a 14.600 flat at something like a low 97 mph, I don't feel like that data is admissable though because I lost the time slip, honest to goodness. How do you feel about that? It's true that I ran that once and I did, I'm telling you that it is true. Tell me I'm lying, go ahead--I've already told you that I don't have the time slip. So now what will you do?
What about CJH's comment above? I notice you've not addressed an eye witness account saying that my car is not surging or running lean. And what about Jak's comment about my car that you didn't address?
But again, you attempt to change the subject back to something that you and I have not even been discussing.
Please be a man here Vigge, accept the responsibility of being wrong after you assumed the role of a T7 leader and teacher that you were not qualified to fill. And yes I will post my logs, ha ha, maybe you should tell me to post them some more and that will make me hurry-up and do it. :) I've told you that I will but I have to admit, I am taking a bit of perverse pleasure in watching your incredible antics--I may just wait another day or two depending upon whether you've had enough or not. Hey, here's an idea--in the meantime, do a search from some of my old posts where I'm talking about the data logger that I installed in my car. Do you think I have a data logger? Do you think that CJH rode in my car and witnessed that it's not running lean or experiencing boost surges as he posted above? Do you think that it matters if Jak didn't mention any surging after riding in my car? I've told you and I'm still telling you exactly what I'm going to do--and what you're going to see when I do it. Still you persist. The only logical way I can look at this whole debacle is that you must have received a 2X helping of stubborness and a half helping each of wisdom and logic at the beginning. In other words, you should learn when it is time to quit.
You seem to be upset here about something, when I am not upset in the least. Yes, people are leering. But like I said twice before in two different ways that you may have missed--I'm just giving you pleanty of opportunity to make a further ass of yourself in front of everyone.
And do you know what the really funny thing is here? Now that you've recanted your stance(s) from your original post we basically agree on the technical aspects of what we've been discussing. Never did I argue that a certain manufacturer was doing the correct thing. Do you realize that? My single and only point that remains to be proven is that Hardware Mods-Only do not ALWAYS cause a problem--like on my car for instance.
You've done your best to make me responsible for a number of claims that I don't have anything to do with. But on the issues that concerns me and you, you're already wrong. So post again, people are leering--in fact they probably think I'm being cruel for taking advantage of your foolish stubborness.
So more specifically, please demand data logs and berate me some more please, tell me I don't know what I'm talking-about again, tell me that I don't have the data that I have. And actually, I may try to make a little movie with my digital camera today of a nice long 2nd or 3rd gear pull all the way to redline--it would just be a shot of my gauges, but would you like to see that too? Does your offer to host some pictures include small movie files as well? Let me know--I'd love to have you host for me. And if you do respond, for goodnes sakes, please try to stay on the topic that you and I have been discussing (here's a hint, not MP). :)
Take care,
Drew
