...and knowledge to this board, and I for one really appreciate it. You are part of the reason that TSN is what it is. Hearing your experiences with mods certainly provides some insight into the pursuit of speed.
If I could just make a few points here:
With respect to other forums, I believe this board to be pretty sensitive to others that don't speak english as their first language, after all, we do drive Swedish cars :) Saying that, I never once perceived that Drew in Houston was cutting on your ability to type/speak english.

Secondly, If i were to tell you that all Finns had blonde hair and blue eyes (like Mika, Kimi, and Heikki, the 3 Finns that I know), or that they all speak good english, like you do, you would probably right away think that I was full of it, pointing out several who didn't have either blonde hair, blue eyes, or speak good english. All Drew in Houston is stating, is that his car does not fall into your broad, sweeping assumption. In elementary science, we learn about how scientific theories evolve into scientific law. Once a hypothesis has one example that disproves it, it can no longer become a law. Again, your feedback is very welcome and interesting here, but I feel you may be a little off in saying that all HW mods do not provide gains in T7 cars.

I feel that both of you have made some points that are correct, it's just unfortunate that this has turned into a sparring match to determine who is more correct. I personally wish that the personal attacks are stop. You both drive Saabs, you should both team up to kick some BMW butt!

Lastly, I have ridden in Drew in Houston's car and seen his boost and A/F plots, There is nothing in there that suggests that anything bad or harmful is taking place. To your end, it is obviously not ideally matched to his ECU, and I think that he would agree with you on that. Please understand that we do not live in Finland or Sweden and do not have as easy of access to tuning shops as you do. Buying SW for each and every HW mod would be prohibitively expensive, especially since the dollar is so weak. So that leaves phasing in HW mods until one is satisfied, then getting software to match your setup. Don't worry, Drew in Houston will get to that point.

My $.03

Happy Holidays,
Chad
