Wouldn't this have an effect on normal drivability as well as in base boost? The plugs are fairly new.
That being said, I don't like the way i've fitted the coolant pipe to turbo off of the inlet manifold. But I would think that would only effect one side of the runners so only plugs 3 and 4 would be shiny.
I didn't put any sealant around the coolant passages when installing the inlet manifold gasket.
I like the cracked throttle body idea. That would get the coolant into all 4 cylinders.
I checked the metal pipe. It seemed fine when it was installed. I can check again though if/when I reinstall the intake manifold.
I've taken a look at the MAF this evening also. Following the 'anders method' I hooked into the 3 prong connector. The needle on my gauge was stuck at low voltage with the MAF set at 380ohms. I adjusted the MAF resistance up to 700. I got an even swing, but further testing is needed when engine is off idle. It seems a little hit or miss to be honest. I'e it's fine for 5 mins, fans come on and then it stops swinging. The plot annoyingly thickens.
