Thanks TRacer. I know it’s difficult to diagnose issues on the internet, but that does put my mind a little more at ease.
I found a large split in the plastic intake pipe between the MAF and compressor.
As you also commented on, the compressor wheel has seen better days.
I’ve had the turbo out and apart to take a look, the bearings were slightly scratched and there was a little coking on the turbine shaft but nothing too crazy. Thanks to some very kind members here, I’ve received a new intake pipe along with some rubber couplings that have seen better days than mine. After I give the intercooler a clean out, all will hopefully go back in on Monday.
