Haha! Tiny Pizza indeed. Great description!
After pushing the car around in 5th gear, I've concluded that I only painted at the 16 degree mark.
Mark on the flywheel cover matches up to block mark at TDC.
Warmed up, it's timed bang on the nose at 16 degrees.
I've had a look at adjusting the mixture again on the AMM. Yesterday I was adjusting it on the wrong voltmeter scale. Anyways, the needle on my analog gauge is swinging nicely between 0 and 12v connected up to the three prong socket.. When connected at 380ohms it was showing 0v (lean). It's now at 620 and swinging.
I loosened the bleed screw at the thermostat and quite a bit of air came out. A little worrying, but coolant was replaced only last month and it's not been run that much. Still, a coolant leak/issue somewhere can't be ruled out. (Hopefully not a cracked head or head gasket pressurizing the system, fooling the thermostat).
I've built and installed the jumper for the ignition pulse amplifier.
I've had a few errands to run in the daily, so will take the garage queen out this afternoon and attempt some base boosting first to check that the mixture is alright, then if that checks out, it'll be time for some APC connected driving.
