My commute is ideal for an all electric like a nissan leaf. 12 mi each way and it sure would be nice to not buy gas.

but for god's sake, a nissan leaf? no. I can't stomach them.

What i'd really like is a small, fiat 500 sized thing, powered by a 3 cylinder turbo charged diesel. I don't care if it goes fast, I dont need to get to work fast.

I like a diesel, and if it could get 60 mpg I'd be a happy commuter once again.
