I was going to say the same... we all get accustomed to how a Saab feels... it can be hard to adjust to something less responsive with less comfortable seats and poorer ergonomics and style.
That said, a linear wagon is more slow and comfy than an aero, and even an aero is more of a luxury car and less go-kart like than some of the older Saab models (eg a c900, probably 9000 also)... so the transition to prius might not be as severe as it could be... do you need the space of a 9-5 wagon? or is any smaller wagon-like vehicle ok? Prius V is pretty small. I have no use for a Prius for our family of 4 because of the size (and performance). She might have very different space needs.
Anyway, all I know is my wife hated driving several of the rentals we got that all the other local wives love... but they haven't spent time driving saabs (or other performance oriented euro-cars) so they don't know what they are missing... your wife might (mine sure did, and she came from a non-car-oriented minivan family growing up)... saabs are addictive!
