Allow me to blow off steam.

Some fool smashed my 89 9000Cdt's door mirror last night while I was
snoring. Presumably he misjudged how close he was to my parked car.
Naturally he didnt leave a note or anything, just the mirror dangling
by its wires from the shattered pod.

Saab want 190 UK pounds (400+ dollars?) for a new one. (fit it myself)

I am very angry. Its not worth losing my no claims bonus over (and
anyway I have a £100 excess) but what an outrageous amount of money
for a plastic pod and tiddly motor.

Oh and Ive lost the little trim panel that fits on the rear of the
roof hiding a seam... they want £25 for that!

Lucky this saab didnt cost me much to buy, these spare parts are eye
wateringly expensive.

Nick
