The Clarion radio and spectrum analyzer/amp can both be removed
with two metal u-shaped wires that are chained together (this
tool should have come with your car). Push the tool into the
small corner holes until it grabs the unit, then pull slowly
out. Be forewarned: after the radio is taken out of the dash,
you need the 5-digit access code printed in the Clarion manual
in order for it to work again when put back in-dash. The radio's
sleeve and wiring harness can be removed by straightening out
the small metal tabs (8 of them?) that retain the piece in the
dash. Once the sleeve is out, you have a good view of wiring and
vacuum tubes in the dash. Not as much is visible after the amp
is removed.
