Similar thing happened to my 2000 9-5 sans the engine stoppage (engine runs
perfectly normally, though the check engine light is on).

The car is currently at the Trolhattan (Sweden) dealer, and its supposed to
be a air pressure sensor shaft in the turbo that gets stuck. There seems to
be a service memo out to that effect though not a recall. If the sensor
shaft sticks in the open position, the engine keeps running ok, if it
sticks in the closed position, the engine starts stalling.

Diff. question: are the light switches on the roof (light, light selection,
sun roof) illuminated as the rest of the switches?

Neeraj
