Stuck Turn Signal

HI, maybe someone can help me out. The other day, while driving, I hit a
section of road that was dirt and rocks as opposed to asphault. (road
repairs) i was doing about 45 because when i crossed that patch earlier, it
was fine, but due to the rain it was all bombed out like with serious holes
and craters. Obviously, my car was seriously rattled. At the next turn, i
turned left, with my signal on, and after the turn, the signal kept flashing.
I mean, the stalk felt perfectly normal, but the dash light as well as the
signals themselves- all three- kept going. They flash with the stalk in the
neutral position, and in the left turn position, but in the right turn
position, they shut off, and the right signals work. To avoid getting pulled
over, I pulled the fuse and used hand signals. I tried letting the car sit
with the fuse pulled for a good period of time, like resetting the trionic
system, and nothing changed. Is it a a system error or a more costly wiring
problem? Thanks for the help, (and reading patiently).
