Cracking Dash

Hello Saab People,

The vehicle in question is a 1990 900S, just starting to get some cracks in
the padded dash, None are longer than an inch and no greater than 1/4'
wide, or deep.

Repair: Has anyone successfully repaired cracks like this? If so, with
what, from where and has it lasted?

Molded Dash Cover: I have one of these in my 1974 VW and it's difficult to
tell where the cover ends and the original dash begins. Has anyone used
one of these? One I'm looking at is Accu-Form, as is the one in my VW, but
they list them as only for 1979-1987 Saab 900's. The picture looks like my
1990 dash, did the dash change between 1987 and 1990. Another that I found
was at www.dashguy.com and it shows the cover fitting thru the 1989 Saab
900?? Did the dash change between 1989 and 1990? And how does the same one
fit 1988 and 1989 if the 1979-1987 cover stops with the '87 model year??
Whew, confused me, too.

Anybody want to try to decipher this and give me some hints and possibly
solutions I've not considered.

Thanks for any help.
