Highway Wandering

My 1993 9000 cse can't stay in its lane at highway speeds when there is
a crosswind fluctuating in its intensity. While on a freeway, a
crosswind between 20 and 30 mph caused me to slow down to 55-60 mph and
head for the slow lane. Other cars in front of me didn't seem to be
affected and most traffic was passing me by. It was suggested that I
check the toe-in alignment, but wouldn't I see some wear on the tires?
The tires are Michelin 4v+ 205 x 15, inflated to about 32 psi and have
been on the car for only 18,000 miles. They have been rotated once. The
car has 116,000 miles. I did have the car aligned when the tires were
purchased. Steven Goldberger has told me that the CSE model has much
softer bushings and won't handle as well as my 87 9000T. That seems to
be true. Any ideas?
