I had a similar problem with another make of car that the dealer could not
duplicate. When does the shut down occur? By this I mean is there a
common thread to the circumstances leading to the shut down, like only
after quick stops but not after slow stops. That was the clue to the
solution for me. There was a broken (cold soldered) joint inside the
engine/body wiring harness connector. A quick stop would put enough
forward motion of the engine and thus on the harness to effectively 'pull
the plug'. The resultant rocking back after the stop, however small,
reduced the slight strain on the connector and the connection would be
remade. Once I found the culprit a bit of work to pull the male and female
connectors out of the plug bodies, a bit of cleaning and a touch of the
soldering iron and reassembly cured the problem.

So, with the engine running, try pulling on both sides of every connector
to see if one causes the engine to die. Hopefully it is as easy as that!
Good luck.

Dennis
