I do recall that Click and Clack complained about the 9000 clutch, as too
heavy. I don't know about your clutch, but I can tell you that after 17
years of driving a Toyota, two Saabs, and assorted stickshift rental cars
(mostly small and junky), I got into my sister's Mazda and the clutch was
so light and the friction point so high, I looked like I was doing driver
ed again. I think eventually you get used to whatever you've got.

Maybe lend the car to some other Saab owners for comment, or drive a few on
the dealer's lot. Good luck.
