Power Seat Fuse & Check Engine Light

I have a '97 900 SE Conv. with two recurring problems:

1) The passenger's side power seat keeps blowing fuses. There's nothing
obstructing seat movement and the dealer just replaces the fuses. It
doesn't happen often enough for them to find a problem (about 1/mo.).

2) The Check Engine light is coming on about 1/mo also. The dealer is just
resetting the code since it seems to be a general fault code and they can't
find a problem. The gas cap is tight, so it shouldn't be the leak down
auto test.

Any suggestions? Please email me directly at jeff.simonno39sdcx6spamx782salesapproach.com

Thanks,

Jeff Simon
