I have fixed a number of door mirrors, including those on C900's & 9000's in
the following way. Get some clear silicone glue/caulk from the hardware
store and apply to the back of the mirror all over, having made sure it and
the other surface is clean. Have ready a couple of wooden blocks 3/4' thick
that will fit inside the mirror frame and two thick rubber bands, the type
they use for lobster claws or broccoli at the grocery store. Position the
mirror accurately and hold in place with two blocks with the bands stretched
over them & around the housing of the mirror. Leave at least overnight and
preferably up to 24 hours. I have had repairs last years done like this and
as long as the glue layer isn't too thick it will not interfere with heating
effectiveness.
