Just a few thoughts. The top of the rear shocks on your car have a large
rubber bushing above and below the mounting point; when loose they make a
somewhat muted knocking sound. If louder and more metalic in nature check
the tightness of the lower end. If the bottom is loose, this will make a
racket; tighten as necessary. Another thought: check to insure that the top
end of each rear shock has TWO NUTS..... The second nut locks the first one
in place and keeps it from loosening every couple of months.
