To my knowledge, there was only one head design for the 8-valve '201H'
engine.  All Saab aluminum head engines feature hardened valve seats and
will run quite fine on unleaded fuel, although they may not be able to use
the least expensive octane rating, depending on the compression ratio.  In
the USA,the 'catalyst' equipped 'B' engine had a lower compression ration
than the non-catalyst versions.  We never had a 'non catalyst' 'H' engine
equipped car sold here.
