Howdy!Just at a question, has anyone ever come up with a solution to the coldweather starting/stalling problem on 900's? My parents have an '88 900that does it a lot less than their '83 did, (which was all the time, 5to 6 tries in 30 degree F weather). This is with an automatic. Wouldsynthetic oil, like Conoco's Polar Start reduce the friction enough tohelp? (My Rabbit loves Polar Start; it starts at 35 below, no problem). The dealer explained that the computer is programmed to run at theleanest possible mixture, which is too lean to keep it running reliablyaround freezing. Maybe the ROM's could be reprogrammed for a richermixture at low temperatures? Thanks in advance!Dave Remienpmafire!dave
