AM Radio Interference

I am having a problem with the am radio reception in my 87 900S. When I =
am in town the reception is fine. However, when I am about 20 miles =
out, the ignition noise is terrible. I am using NGK BCP7ES plugs with =
Bosch wires. My stereo is a Sony unit with single CD player. It was =
installed with a installation kit from Crutchfield (no factory wiring =
has been cut and original grounds are used). I have also installed a 10 =
amp in line noise filter. In addition, the main ground points in the =
engine bay look good. After new plugs were installed, I noticed a =
marked reduction in ignition noise for about three weeks. Is there =
anything else I can do to help the problem? Any suggestions would be =
appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg =20
